This tutorial has both a full audio visual video and a printable muscle memory practice guide for you to download.

It starts with instruction on focal points and wing structure, to help you achieve a beautifully balanced butterfly every time.

It shows the basic onestroke butterfly that is easily achievable on the job and also different ways to add more detail, if time allows. You can change up the base colour and one stroke and add your own flavour to the antenna and line work to make it your own.

Showing all the brushes and paints used, with up close visuals and detailed audio, this download also includes a printable practice guide sheet that will help you to build muscle memory and perfect the strokes.

This guide is designed to be used with a clear practice board over the top.

They are hand painted guides, not edited or digitally enhanced so they will not look perfect, but they ARE a realistic view of what your strokes can look like with patience and practice.

All videos are in real time not sped up, they have been painted slowly and have clear descriptions, to help you understand the structure of each stroke.

You can use these printable sheets as a reference, laminate them or use a clear practice board over the top and then trace over with your brush.
