We have not included Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 as it is illegal to state this on a product in the UK and EU, here's the legal text;

Regulation (EC) 655/2013 Annex I, states “Claims which convey the idea that a product has a specific benefit when this benefit is mere compliance with

minimum legal requirements shall not be allowed”, on this basis Facepainting Hub has not included a statement on the label that the product is compliant with Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 as this would be non-compliant.

Please note we have not included the text 'Approved by FDA'.

No facepaint brand can claim they are approved by the FDA.

To sell a cosmetic in the USA you need to ensure the ingredients & colours in the facepaint COMPLY with the list of approved ingredients laid out by the FDA, and be safe for consumer use.

In addition, any facepaint sold in the USA has to comply with the requirements laid out by the FDA for label information.
